Stephen Lucas is the Principal Solicitor of Kingston Lawyers. He commenced practise in 1995 and has enjoyed a successful legal career. Stephen commenced work as a sole proprietor in 1997 at age 22. Stephen then acquired various firms including:

Kingston Lawyers was founded on the belief that a law firm should be long standing and enduring beyond the retirement of lawyers. Kingston Lawyers now holds more than 10,000 Wills and important documents for clients.
During his career Stephen has practised in most areas of dispute resolution in commercial, criminal and private law including family law. Stephen acts as a barrister and solicitor and has been involved in many hundreds of matters in a successful career.
Stephen has enjoyed mentoring many young lawyers some of whom now hold very senior legal positions. Stephen has published articles on Estate Planning, Family Law, Commercial and Wills Disputes. Stephen is active in the community providing pro bono advice to a number of worthy charities.
Outside of law Stephen enjoys spending time with his family. Stephen enjoys most sports and also reading case law and history.

Jonathan has had extensive experience in commercial litigation and criminal law.
Prior to joining Kingston Lawyers, Jonathan worked both as a commercial litigator, and as a prosecutor with the ACT Director of Public Prosecutions.
His experience includes acting as Instructor to Counsel Assisting in a Coronial Inquest, working on secondment as a litigation lawyer with the Australian Sports Anti-Doping Agency (ASADA), as an intern at Legal Aid Indonesia in Yogyakarta, and as a contributor to Oxford University Press ‘Oxford Reports on International Law’.
He is an ongoing advisor to Transparency International Australia and has been a director of a public company.

A new addition to the Kingston Lawyers team, Jake brings a detailed and analytical approach to his work and is now practicing in Wills and Estates and Property Law. As an energetic and dedicated lawyer, he is passionate about providing excellent client service and is focused on assisting clients achieve their goals.
Jake completed a Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Arts at Deakin University, and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the College of Law. During his studies, he would volunteer at Fitzroy Legal Service assisting those most in need with a range of different issues.
Understanding that his clients are often going through a difficult period in their lives, Jake aims to take the stress out of these situations with practical advice and an empathetic approach.
Angela is Kingston Lawyers’ Conveyancing expert with over 25 years of experience. She joined the Kingston Lawyers team in 2013 bringing with her a wealth of knowledge in residential, commercial and off-the-plan transactions.
Angela understands that buying and selling your home or property can be stressful and will be with you every step of the way to ensure that your electronic settlement is smoothly completed.
Angela’s leadership and positive attitude is not only displayed in the office but also on the tennis court. Angela also enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Client Services Manager
Kim is our client services manager. It is her role to ensure that your dealings with the firm meet your requirements.
Kim is a qualified family dispute resolution practitioner having successfully completed the Graduate Diploma of Family Dispute Resolution in 2014. Kim also holds a Diploma in Counselling and a Management qualification.
Outside of law Kim performs charity work and is busy raising three children with her husband Stephen.
With a background in financial services, James brings to Kingston Lawyers a commercial mindset, with a focus on delivering practical and swift outcomes for the firm’s clients.
James completed a Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Arts at Charles Darwin University, and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the College of Law. Throughout his studies, he obtained broad experience with large city law firms and a small regional firm.
When not practicing law, James fancies himself as quite the oratorical coach of a local Under 10s football team.
Jayden is currently completing a double degree of a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in finance as well as Bachelor of Laws (Honours) at Monash University. Since joining Kingston Lawyers, Jayden has loved delving into various areas of law and having the opportunity to interact with different people from various backgrounds.
Beyond his academics, Jayden is enthused by various sports, none more significant than soccer. Jayden also spends his weekends lifeguarding at the local swimming pool.
Jayden is looking forward to expanding his expertise in all aspects of practising law and learning how to provide the best experience for his clients.
Tiffany is currently completing a double degree of a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Accounting at Monash University. Having had experience in conveyancing, Tiffany is eager to broaden her exposure to various areas of law and assist clients to the best of her ability.
Outside of her studies, Tiffany enjoys spending time with family and friends and playing volleyball. She also hopes to travel the world and experience different cultures when she is able.
Sam is currently completing a double degree comprising of a Bachelor of Law (Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts (Politics and Chinese Mandarin) at Monash University. Sam has a keen interest in family law among other fields and is very enthusiastic to develop her skills for her future legal profession.
Sam has a wide range of interests outside of the legal field. She participates in aerial arts and plays piano in her spare time.
Mitchell is currently completing a double degree of a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) as well as a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Accounting at Monash University. Mitchell is excited to be involved in various areas of the law and is keen to assist clients to the best of his ability. He hopes that his friendly and enthusiastic approach will place him in good stead to learn the skills necessary for a future in the Law.
Outside of the workplace, Mitchell has a passion for sport and the outdoors. When able, he also enjoys travelling in between semesters and taking a break from his studies to spend time with his friends and family.
Katarina is currently completing a double degree of a Bachelor of Arts (majoring in Criminology and Human Rights) as well as a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) at Monash University. Having gained experience in employment law, Katarina is keen to further her experience in other areas of law. Katarina has an interest in employment law, family law and criminal law. Katarina hopes to bring empathy and understanding to her role, as well as an understanding of diverse backgrounds, as she is both Polish and Croatian and is able to communicate in both languages. With years of experience in various customer service roles, Katarina understands the importance of tailoring customer service and experience to the specific client. Outside of law, Katarina enjoys playing tennis, going to the gym and spending time with her friends and family.
Katarina is an avid lover of travel and enjoys visiting her family in Europe and exploring new places.
Natalie is currently completing a double degree of a Bachelor of Law (Honours) and Bachelor of Arts (majoring in Anthropology, minoring in Psychology) at Monash University. Natalie is looking forward to gaining valuable experience in all aspects of the legal field, as well as developing important skills for her future legal career. Despite being her first experience working in the legal profession, Natalie has worked in the hospitality industry for the past 6 years, and hopes to bring her customer service and communication skills to the role. Outside of work, Natalie enjoys playing netball, drinking coffee and spending time with friends and family.
