Rachel Fletcher

Rachel Fletcher

Trainee Solicitor

Rachel is a happy and hardworking member of our team.
Rachel is currently in her penultimate year of studying a Bachelor of Laws at Deakin University. Her interests lie within Family Law and Estate Law where she has a strong desire to help clients that are in need. During her degree she has travelled to China and Sweden to undertake studies at partner universities, learning about Chinese Commercial law and International Criminal Law.
Rachel recognises stressful situations faced by clients and has the ability to support clients to make the legal journey less daunting.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and travelling.

Jake Harris

Jake Harris

A new addition to the Kingston Lawyers team, Jake brings a detailed and analytical approach to his work and is now practicing in Wills and Estates and Property Law. As an energetic and dedicated lawyer, he is passionate about providing excellent client service and is focused on assisting clients achieve their goals.

Jake completed a Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Arts at Deakin University, and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the College of Law. During his studies, he would volunteer at Fitzroy Legal Service assisting those most in need with a range of different issues.

Understanding that his clients are often going through a difficult period in their lives, Jake aims to take the stress out of these situations with practical advice and an empathetic approach.

Weng Yi Wong

Weng Yi is currently studying for a double degree comprising of a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Arts (Literature and Philosophy) at Monash University. Among other fields, she is interested in intellectual property law, entertainment law, and aspects of legal philosophy. Weng Yi is keen to expand her knowledge of and exposure to many different areas of legal practice at Kingston Lawyers.

Outside the legal and academic spheres, her hobbies and interests extend to equally varied subjects. She participates competitively in equestrian sports, is a classically trained violinist, and volunteers as a subeditor for Monash University’s student publication, Lot’s Wife. In her spare time, she can usually be found at the theatre or training her horse.

Jayden Casselson

Jayden Casselson

Trainee Solicitor

Jayden is currently completing a double degree of a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in finance as well as Bachelor of Laws (Honours) at Monash University. Since joining Kingston Lawyers, Jayden has loved delving into various areas of law and having the opportunity to interact with different people from various backgrounds.

Beyond his academics, Jayden is enthused by various sports, none more significant than soccer. Jayden also spends his weekends lifeguarding at the local swimming pool.

Jayden is looking forward to expanding his expertise in all aspects of practising law and learning how to provide the best experience for his clients.

Stephen Lucas

Stephen Lucas is the Principal Solicitor of Kingston Lawyers.

He commenced practise in 1995 and has enjoyed a successful career in law.

Stephen commenced work as a sole proprietor in 1997 at age 22.

and then founding Kingston Lawyers in 2011.

During this time Stephen has practised in most areas of dispute resolution in commercial, criminal and private law including family law.

Stephen acts as a barrister and solicitor and has been involved in many hundreds of matters in a successful career.

Stephen has also mentored many young lawyers and has had numerous articled clerks and supervised trainee lawyers who have been admitted to the Supreme Court.

Stephen has published articles on Corporations Law, Family Law and Wills Law.

Stephen is active in the community providing pro bono advice to a number of worthy charities.

Outside of law Stephen enjoys spending time with his wife Kim and their three children.

Jonathan Devenish

Jonathan Devenish

Associate Lawyer

Jonathan has had extensive experience in commercial litigation and criminal law.

Prior to joining Kingston Lawyers, Jonathan worked both as a commercial litigator, and as a prosecutor with the ACT Director of Public Prosecutions.

His experience includes acting as Instructor to Counsel Assisting in a Coronial Inquest, working on secondment as a litigation lawyer with the Australian Sports Anti-Doping Agency (ASADA), as an intern at Legal Aid Indonesia in Yogyakarta, and as a contributor to Oxford University Press ‘Oxford Reports on International Law’.

He is an ongoing advisor to Transparency International Australia and has been a director of a public company.

Angela Richards

Angela Richards

Conveyancing Manager

Angela is Kingston Lawyers’ Conveyancing expert with over 25 years of experience. She joined the Kingston Lawyers team in 2013 bringing with her a wealth of knowledge in residential, commercial and off-the-plan transactions.
Angela understands that buying and selling your home or property can be stressful and will be with you every step of the way to ensure that your electronic settlement is smoothly completed.
Angela’s leadership and positive attitude is not only displayed in the office but also on the tennis court. Angela also enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Kimberleigh Lucas

Client Services Manager

Kim is our client services manager. It is her role to ensure that your dealings with the firm meet your requirements.

Kim is a qualified family dispute resolution practitioner having successfully completed the Graduate Diploma of Family Dispute Resolution in 2014. Kim also holds a Diploma in Counselling and a Management qualification.

Outside of law Kim performs charity work and is busy raising three children with her husband Stephen.

Brianna is currently completing a Batchelor of Law at Deakin University and has been with Kingston Lawyers since 2017. She has a keen interest in Family law; Estate Law; and Commercial law matters. Brianna works closely with our team of lawyers and assists with administrative duties at the firm. She has an approachable and professional manner, and she aims to assist in achieving a positive, meaningful outcomes for clients.

Brianna enjoys spending quality time with family and friends. She has a keen interest in traveling and immersing herself in different cultures in particular her Spanish background.

Rebecca (Bec) Cleary

Rebecca is currently completing a double degree comprising of a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts (International Relations and Criminology) at Monash University. Rebecca has taken a keen interest in criminal law and employment law during her time at Kingston Lawyers and is enthusiastic about expanding her knowledge into new areas of law.

In her spare time, Bec enjoys spending time at the beach and is currently planning her next trip overseas once completing her fifth year of study. Around her studies, Bec has been volunteering with Embrace Education tutoring and the Monash University branch of Amnesty International.
